Counting Measures, Passing Notes

Hi. This is my podcast COUNTING MEASURES, PASSING NOTES. Basically I want to talk about music, education, and places those two subjects converge. And I want to talk about them with a few different groups of people: people who taught me; people who taught alongside me; and people who allegedly were taught by me.

BTW, clicking the title in the above right column brings you to my band's website. I don't know why, and I haven't been able to fix it. The READ MORE links DO bring you to Soundcloud, so use those.

OK, Phase One begins in Newtown, CT, the place what raised me and learned me to write goodly.

Ye of Little to No Faith

During a unit on podcasting with a class of high school seniors, I needed to demonstrate what making a podcast entails. Rather than do a music topic, I chose to skate out on the ice of looking at religion in America through an atheistic lens. Recording it live with a student audience made it fun and interesting--for me, at least.
